The Foster | Palo Alto, CA | USA
The Foster has more than 7,500 square feet of gallery space showcasing the watercolor landscapes of artist-explorer Tony Foster. Tony is a plein air artist from Cornwall, United Kingdom. Since 1982, Tony has traveled the globe to create a series of watercolor journeys on-site in the world’s great wildernesses.
The galleries at The Foster contain two of Tony's complete journeys, an overview of every one of his 16 journeys, and lobby displays covering the history and process of the artist.
The Foster's mission is to share artist-explorer Tony Foster’s powerful watercolor journeys to inspire reflection, discussion, and education about art, wilderness, and the natural world.
The Foster galleries are truly an awe-inspiring space to be in.
